On Friday, July 24, 2026, the Central Association of Psychology Students (CAPS), operating under the Central Department of Psychology, TU successfully organized a series of awareness-raising and community-oriented activities to mark *International Self-Care Day*.

To promote mental health and well-being within the academic community, the program was executed in two main sessions:

Session 1 (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM): Students and volunteers raised awareness by pasting informative posters and sticky notes highlighting self-care and mental health strategies across key high-traffic locations, including the TU central library area, TU canteen area, and Psychology Central Department premises.

*Session 2 (2:30 PM):* Participants conducted a comprehensive campus clean-up drive around the department area, reinforcing the connection between a clean physical environment and overall psychological well-being.

Speaking on the success of the initiative, CAPS Secretary Gautam Dhital noted that the program has successfully engaged students and faculty alike, highlighting the association's ongoing commitment to mental health advocacy and community stewardship on campus.
